The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the answer key and results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) soon. The NEET UG 2024 exam was held on May 5th across India. Over 22 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of around 25 lakh applicants. The NTA set up over 4,750 exam centers in 571 cities, including 14 international centers, to conduct the exam smoothly. This year, a total of 13,31,321 female candidates, 9,96,393 male candidates and 17 transgender candidates participated in the exam.

NEET 2024 Paper Leak Controversy

Since the exam day, NEET 2024 exam has faced significant controversies. It includes allegations of paper leaks, incorrect question paper distribution, proxy candidates, and multiple arrests connected to the scandal. These issues have led to calls for the exam to be reconducted. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has denied these allegations, stating that the exam was conducted successfully except for isolated incidents, such as the wrong distribution of question papers at a center in Rajasthan. The Supreme Court of India has agreed to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding the paper leak but has declined to halt the result declaration or order a re-exam, considering the impact on the 22-23 lakh students who appeared in the exam.

NEET UG 2024 Difficulty Level

The NEET UG 2024 exam was considered moderately to challenging by students and experts. Many candidates found the Physics section difficult due to its complex numeric problems. Overall, students rated the exam as moderate. Biology was the easiest, with questions based on NCERT and none from the deleted syllabus. Physical Chemistry had many calculation-based questions, while Organic Chemistry was challenging with many statement-based questions. Compared to last year, the 2024 paper was easier. NEET Result Date 2024

The NEET 2024 answer keys and solutions for all question paper sets were released by the coaching institutes on the day of the exam. But the official answer keys come from the National Testing Agency (NTA). The provisional answer keys are typically released in the first week of June, followed by the announcement of NEET results and the final answer keys by June 14th, 2024. Though there has not been any official announcement by NTA, the most likely date is June 14th, 2024 for the result.

How to Check NEET Result 2024?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that it will release the results for NEET 2024 by the second week of June 2024. The results will be available online at the NTA website. You can just print it out for future reference. Keep in your mind that you will need your registration or application credentials to access your scorecard. Here’s how you can do it –

• After opening the official website click on the ‘NEET UG Scorecard 2024’ tab.
• Click on NEET UG Scorecard 2024.

• If you are not getting it now, worry not. By the result day you will get the button.
• Enter your NEET 2024 application number and password or date of birth.
• Now your scorecard will pop up on your screen.
• Download it and print the NEET 2024 scorecard for future reference.
